    @Pankaj,

Backbone tb infection can happen during pregnancy. A pregnant woman with a positive skin test and abnormal chest x-ray findings compatible with tuberculosis should start treatment. Get all the three tests done.

In most pregnant women, treatment of latent TB infection (LTBI) should be delayed until 2 or 3 months after delivery, even though no harmful effects of INH (the standard treatment regimen for TB infection) on the fetus have yet been found.

All, i can say the the condition of your wife is not normal so you should get her to take all the test again from a reputed company. Take your previous test reports along with you that might help the pathologists.

hi… its the beginning of my seventh month and my movements have gone slow n small…. is it aything to worry about..????

This is totally normal. As your baby gets bigger, the space in the womb becomes limited and he doesn’t have as much space to give back a good kick. You will feel him “adjusting” more now as you get further along (wiggling and squirming to get more comfortable).

Since your uterus can physically only get so big, you eventually stop growing as fast and therefore baby has less room to move!

I have tested my HB last time, it was 10.8 gm and now i have tested it again it is now 10.6 gm. I feel weakness all the time. Please suggest me good diet and what to do or what not to do?

    Thanks in advance………

    Regards,
    Richa.

Acidity in 7th month of pregnancy is common, you have make sure that you eat regularly and don’t skip meal. Moreover, make sure you eat a small quantity of food every two hours and use some anti acidic tables like Gelucil or something. Your gynecologist will prescribe some anti acidity tables to relieve pain.

Avoid sex? Are you insane? Why??? I am seven months pregnant and sex with my husband has never been better? It’s also good for the baby by the way. Happy mommy = happy baby. Plus in the last month of pregnancy good sex will help thin the cervix and get labour started naturally.

If you are enjoying normal pregnancy with no complications ever, you can indulge in sex but certain situations sex during pregnancy isn’t wise especially if you are at risk for preterm labor, your doctor may ask you to cut back on sexual activity or to monitor yourself for contractions after sex. Your doctor may ask you to stop having sex if you have certain problems during pregnancy such as vaginal bleeding or problems with your cervix or placenta.

Also if you have the following conditions sex during this phase is not a good idea

    1. bleeding
    2. abdominal pains or cramps
    3. broken waters
    4. known history of cervical weakness
    5. low-lying placenta (placenta praevia), especially if you have had some bleeding in the past.

BTW: Happy mommy = happy baby  (love that idea) :)

I’m 27 weeks pregnant with a little girl and approximately 3 weeks ago, I went to urinate and had blood come onto the tp. The doctor. (Obgyn) informed me that it was a blood vessel that burst on my cervix but never told me what the reason could be. Would u happen to know anything about this? Is there a diagnosis or anything to avoid?
